Troops told to protect people, state

ZAMBOANGA CITY: The military's Eastern Mindanao Command said it stands united with Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr. in preventing any destabilization plot against the present administration.

Lt. Gen. Greg Almerol, chief of the Eastern Mindanao Command, also reminded troops 'to remain professional and dedicated to their constitutional mandates and stern duty of protecting the people and the state.'
