QUEZON City has passed two ordinances to beef up the local government's fight against child labor.
Mayor Maria Josefina "Joy" Belmonte told The Manila Times on Sunday that she approved two measures passed by the Sangguniang Panlungsod (city council), both introduced by Councilor Edgar "Egay" Yap and primarily aimed at reducing, if not eradicating, child labor practice in the city.
