INFLATION is expected to have eased in October owing to lower prices of key food items as well as cheaper fuel.
The median forecast in a survey of nine economists was 5.4 percent, within the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas' (BSP) 5.1- to 5.9-percent projection for the month and down from September's 6.1-percent result.
