SEC notches 'record' company registrations

CORPORATE registrations jumped to a record high of 42,926 last year from 38,052 in 2021, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) said, attributing the gain mainly to a digitalization program.

The SEC claimed that the 2021 launch of digital services in 2021 had improved the ease of doing business in the Philippines.
