THE Regional Development Council (RDC) in Central Visayas urged the government and private sectors to support the Green Energy Option Program (GEOP) to accelerate the action to mitigate the effects of climate change.

The RDC, chaired by Bohol Gov. Erico Aristotle Aumentado, called on the local government units (LGUs), national government entities, academic institutions and the private sector in Central Visayas to support the program, as the Philippines has been tagged to be at high-risk status due to the extreme weather shifts.
