Pangasinan teacher survives snake bite

DAGUPAN CITY: A teacher, who was bitten by a snake while performing poll-related duty for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) on October 30, is now on his way to full recovery, a Commission on Elections (Comelec) official said on Friday, November 3.

This was one of the five incidents in the country involving teachers while on poll duty for last Monday's BSKE, according to the Department of Education (DepEd).
