Abalos commends Iloilo, Cebu, Baguio

INTERIOR and Local Government Secretary Benjamin 'Benhur' Abalos Jr. on Thursday, November 2, encouraged all other cities in the country to replicate the success of Iloilo, Cebu, and Baguio and be recognized worldwide as icons of urban development.

The DILG secretary made the challenge after the local government of Iloilo City became the latest recipient of the title 'Creative City of Gastronomy' from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco) Creative Cities Network (UCCN).
