UNBEATEN Petro Gazz shoots for its fifth win and the solo lead in the 2023 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) 2nd All-Filipino Conference when it faces Chery Tiggo at the PhilSports Arena on Saturday, November 4.
The Angels battle the Crossovers at 6 p.m. in the nightcap of a triple-header.
Farm Fresh Foxies and Cignal HD Spikers clash at 2 p.m. even as the Gerflor Defenders and PLDT High Speed Hitters collide at 4 p.m.
Petro Gazz cruised to a 4-0 start after trouncing F2 Logistics, 25-22, 27-25, 25-14, last Saturday in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
Angels head coach Timmy Sto. Tomas credited his team's early success to their eagerness to learn and desire to win games.
"Their drive to win and learn is something else," said Sto. Tomas when asked what makes the team click this conference.

"It's a pleasure to teach them because everyone's eager to learn and win. I think we're on the same page in the sense that we all want to win and learn."
The team also got a solid contribution from middle blocker Ranya Musa who fired 11 points last Saturday.
Sto. Tomas, however, said that the Crossovers are no pushovers.
"We all know that Chery Tiggo is very competitive. If you're going to look at the paper, individually, they have the material. We need to study their system and how they play so we can get another win," said Sto. Tomas.
Meanwhile, Chery Tiggo looks to build a new winning run after scoring a 25-8, 25-12, 25-20 bounce back win against Gerflor last Tuesday.
Sporting a 3-1 slate, the Crossovers also look to break free from a three-way tie with Choco Mucho and PLDT in the team standings.
"It's going to be an exciting match," Chery Tiggo head coach Aaron Velez said of his team's game against Petro Gazz.
"Definitely, we'll be seeing a different side of Chery and hopefully our preparations will meet the output that we're expecting which is a win."
