PCG begins search for man who jumped ship

THE Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has launched a search and rescue (SAR) operation for a man who reportedly jumped off a vessel in Monreal, Masbate on Wednesday, November 1.

In its report issued on Friday, the PCG said the incident transpired around 4:26 p.m. when a 29-year-old male resident of Masbate City suddenly jumped off a vessel allegedly due to a family problem based on the initial investigation while en route to Pioduran Port in Albay.
