SLOWER economic growth, elevated interest rates and ongoing cost pressures may challenge the stability of credit conditions in emerging markets, S&P Global Research said.

"We now expect subdued economic growth and interest rates to remain elevated, as high prices linger. We anticipate monetary easing for the rest of the year, more so in 2024," it said in a research note.
