Born into showbiz royalty, Cool Cat Ash could have effortlessly leaned on her family fame. She is the daughter of Maribel, also known as 'Lala' Aunor, sister of singer-songwriter Marion, and niece of legendary 'Superstar' Nora. However, she wanted to march to the beat of her own drum.

Not only did she distance herself from her talented relatives by adopting a different screen name, but she also ventured into creating her distinct sound.
