CANVAS maker Instructure Holdings Inc. has acquired Parchment, an academic credential management platform and network that helps learners, educational institutions, and employers request, verify, and share transcripts, diplomas and other credentials in simple and secure ways.
With the acquisition of Parchment, Instructure expanded its learning platform with 15,000 customers who exchanged more than 165 million credentials over two decades. The deal is valued at $835 million.
