THE Korean Chamber of Commerce Philippines (KCCP) welcomed the Department of Trade and Industry's (DTI) plan to launch a program to foster the development of the local electric vehicle (EV) industry by providing incentives for this segment.
Joseph Um (Hyun-Chong), KCCP president and chairman of Samdo Group Philippines, noted, however, that more work was still needed to attract additional EV-related investments to the Philippines.
