Berjaya profit dips 34% to P617M

LISTED holding firm Berjaya Philippines Inc. saw its net income in the fiscal year ending June 2023 fall to P617.16 million or down by 34.4 percent from P940.88 million a year ago.

Consolidated revenues, however, rose to P38.51 billion from P36.58 billion on the back of improvements in vehicle revenues, servicing, and body shop segments and hotel operations, the company said in a disclosure to the stock exchange on October 31.
