BACOLOD CITY: Notwithstanding the numerous complaints on missing names and claims of vote buying, the holding of the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) in Negros Occidental and Bacolod City on Monday, October 30, was "generally peaceful."
Brig. Gen. Orlando Edralin, commander of the 303rd Infantry Brigade, and Col. Leo Pamittan, provincial police director of Negros Occidental, made the declaration on Tuesday, October 31.
