A SPECIAL recognition was given to the city of General Trias along with other cities and towns in the Philippines during the 49th Philippine Business Conference and Exposition (PBC&E) held at Fiesta Pavillion, Manila Hotel, Manila City on Oct. 26, 2023.

Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) President George Barcelon and Felino Palafox, chairman of 49th PBC&E handed over the special citation plaque to General Trias City Mayor Luis 'Jon Jon' Ferrer 4th and Vice Mayor Jonas Labuguen for the Most Business-Friendly Local Government Unit Award.
