School in Surigao del Sur goes digital

UNIDOS Elementary School in Surigao del Sur recently received a surprise gift from the PLDT-Smart Foundation (PSF) and Huawei Philippines (Huawei) — the School-in-a-Bag — a digital classroom powered by PLDT and its wireless unit Smart Communications Inc. (Smart).

'Education is the greatest gift we can bestow on our youth,' said PLDT-Smart Foundation President Esther Santos, stressing that the School-in-a-Bag ensures that inclusive quality education reaches children in last-mile schools.
