TACLOBAN CITY, Leyte: The Commission on Elections (Comelec) based in Eastern Visayas reported that the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) in Leyte and Samar was generally peaceful.
Lawyer Felicisimo Embalsado, acting regional director of Comelec in Region 8, told The Manila Times that the BSKE in Eastern Visayas went on smoothly and generally peaceful.
