THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 2 Isabela, together with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority – Southern Isabela College of Arts and Trades (Tesda-Sicat), recently upskilled baristas and coffee shop owners in the region via a three-day Barista Coffee Training and Market Matching.
On October 27, DTI Region 2 said that the training covered various aspects of coffee preparation — from operating coffee machines to making espresso, texturing milk, and serving coffee beverages — as coffee shops continue to enjoy strong demand.
