THE residential property market in Metro Manila has arrived at a crossroads, experiencing an upswing in demand for both horizontal and vertical developments. Potential buyers carefully considered the advantages and disadvantages of each type, which resulted in an increased demand for both in the third quarter of 2023.

This was one report made by Leechiu Property Consultants Inc. (LPC), a privately held professional real estate brokerage company founded by prominent real estate adviser David Leechiu, on the state of the Philippine property market during the third quarter of this year. The presentation on the residential market sector was conducted by Roy Amado Golez, LPS's director for research and consultancy.
