It's the NBA's opening week. We have barely seen all teams play. It's an extremely small sample size, but the argument for Luka Doncic winning the MVP award is strong as ever.

This is not shocking, and not even new. He was the favorite last year as well, and I agreed with it. He should be the favorite now. His averages for the first two games are 41 points, 11.5 rebounds, 8.5 assists. These are similar to Oscar Robertson's numbers in the sixties, but with higher scoring.
