JRU stops AU, grabs solo 3rd in NCAA

JOSE Rizal University (JRU) overcame Arellano University's (AU) upset try and eked out a 79-74 victory on Sunday that catapulted it to solo third spot in NCAA Season 99 at the Filoil EcoOil Arena.

Skipper Ry de la Rosa came to his team's rescue anew, draining the go-ahead triple with less than a minute and a half as the Bombers snared their eighth win against four defeats, which was good for No. 3.
