Pentagon reaffirms vow to protect PH vs Chinese aggression

WASHINGTON, D.C.: The spokesman for the US Department of Defense reaffirmed the United States' commitment to come to the Philippines' aid in the wake of Chinese aggression in the West Philippine Sea.

'The Philippines is one of our strongest allies, we have a shared commitment to stand shoulder-to-shoulder as allies to bring security, prosperity and stability to the Indo-Pacific region and beyond,' Lt. Col. Martin Meiners said in an interview with The Manila Times on Saturday.
