THE Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) will send a team to help rescue and repatriate Filipinos caught in the Israel-Hamas war, particularly those in southern Israel near the Gaza border.
DMW Officer in Charge Hans Cacdac said Filipinos in southern Israel or the area close to the Gaza border were transferred to safer areas and are being monitored round-the-clock by the Philippine Labor Attaché and Welfare Office there.
