Strong market rally not seen this week

THE stock market may not yet see a strong recovery this week, with trading limited to only two days due to the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections today, and the holidays on November 1 and 2, analysts said.

The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) ended last week's trading 2.95-percent lower week-on-week at 5,961.99, the lowest point this year.
