BUSINESSES and consumers must continue to accept centavo coins and folded polymer bank notes in their financial transactions, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) said.
The DTI said that 25-, 10-, 5-, and 1-centavo and folded paper banknotes, including P1,000 polymer banknote, must still be accepted for financial transactions.
