THE Department of Energy (DoE) announced over the weekend that it was inviting interested and qualified parties to participate in the conduct of a competitive selection process (CSP) for Microgrid Systems Providers (MGSP) in areas identified under the 2023-2032 National Total Electrification Roadmap (NTER).

The agency said that the electrification road map, or NTER, released last Friday, aims to identify the unserved and underserved areas in off-grid areas that will be prioritized for tender to private sector investments through a CSP, pursuant to the Microgrid Systems Act.
