"Nanahimik ang Gabi" was among the big winners at the 2022 Metro Manila Film Festival, but just shy of a year later, its producers — three men and a lady behind Rein Entertainment — are still on a high. After all, they have spent much of 2023 reaping countless other nominations and more astounding wins for the steamy, thought-provoking suspense-thriller, which starred Ian Veneracion, Heaven Peralejo and Mon Confiado, all while never letting up to churn bigger and better content for the local film industry, including the now ever-present on-demand streaming platform.
A group of forty-something like-minded and accomplished creatives, directors and screenplay writers, Lino Cayetano, Shugo Praico and Philip King, are co-founders of Rein Entertainment. They are all of equal positions in the company, which cannot do without a fourth head at the table, who happens to be the group's marketing and finance go-to, Charm de Guzman.
