The Cavite Spartans continued their winning ways by subduing Negros Oriental SAGAR Sports and Davao Durianburg Stallions at the Professional Chess Association of the Philippines (PCAP) Wesley So Cup held online via Chess.com platform on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Cavite thrashed NegOr, 18-3, and Davao, 13.5-7.5 to stretch its winning streak to six and raise its win-loss record to 11-3.

The Spartans, however, remained in third place in the Northern Conference behind leader Pasig City (14-0) and San Juan (12-2) but a clear three wins ahead of Manila, Laguna, and Isabela, who share fourth place with identical 8-6 marks.
