BACOLOD CITY: Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson is hoping for a violence-free situation in the province until the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) on October 30.
Lacson said so far, there is no election-related violence in the province as the election day draws nearer, citing a report of Col. Leo Pamittan, provincial police director.
