5,684 deployed to secure BSKE in Negros Occidental, Bacolod

BACOLOD CITY: A total of 5,684 security personnel were deployed on Friday, October 27, for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) in Negros Occidental and Bacolod City on Monday, October 30.

Officials of the Philippine National Police and Philippine Army said they will remain on full alert for the elections and for All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day on November 1 and 2.
