THE Climate Change Commission (CCC) has announced that the Philippines is ready to present a "strongest case" at the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) to be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), from Nov. 30 to Dec. 12, 2023.

"We would like to prepare as hard as we can because the messages that the Philippines wants to convey and impart to this important global meeting will really center on what developing countries, like the Philippines, continue to experience, what we are doing to make sure that we are responsible members of the international community and what the international community needs to continue doing because for countries, like the Philippines and other vulnerable nations, it is a question of lives, livelihood and our shared future," CCC Vice Chairman and Executive Director Robert Borje told the media on Friday.
