Cebu Pacific launches SAF flights

TOKYO: Cebu Pacific, the Philippines' largest low-cost airline, earlier this week launched sustainable Tokyo-Manila commercial passenger flights powered by blended sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and Airbus NEO or new engine option aircraft.

Flight 5J 5055, the inaugural flight from Tokyo's Narita airport, is part of Cebu Pacific's strategy to meet a long-term global goal of net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
