Law on LGU income classification signed

PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has signed into law a bill institutionalizing the automatic income classification of local government units (LGUs) for a more responsive approach to local autonomy promotion.

Republic Act (RA) 11964, the 'Automatic Income Classification of Local Government Units Act,' was signed by the President on Thursday, October 26.
