THE Bureau of Customs (BoC) has started releasing the balikbayan boxes of roughly 200 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) stuck in the warehouse for almost a year.
Sen. Rafael "Raffy" Tulfo, the chairman of the Senate Committee on Migrant Workers, requested BoC Commissioner Buenvenido Rubio to help his staff assist the OFWs, resulting in the release of their balikbayan boxes.
