Gender and devt zone created in Region 12

THE Regional Gender and Development Committee in Region 12 (RGADC-12) has adopted an initiative establishing a gender and development (GAD) zone in the Soccsksargen region.

Regional director Josephine Cabrido-Leysa of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)-12, said on Tuesday, October 24, that they had piloted the Prime Regional Government Center, a compound comprised of various offices of regional line agencies in Koronadal City, to be a GAD zone as part of RGADC's innovation in Soccsksargen.
