Find other ODA sources, govt urged

SEN. Mary Grace Poe said the country's decision to withdraw its request for official development assistance (ODA) from China for a railway project should not derail the implementation of infrastructure programs as the country can look for other sources of funds.

The Department of Finance has reportedly informed Chinese Ambassador to Manila Huang Xilian that it is canceling the Philippines' request for ODA for the Mindanao Railway Phase 1, worth P83 billion.
