PH house prices up 14.1% in Q2

RESIDENTIAL property prices accelerated in the second quarter, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) reported on Thursday, with a surge particularly seen for townhouse units.

The Residential Real Estate Price Index (RRPI) grew by an annual 14.1 percent during the period, up from 10.2 percent three months earlier. Quarter-on-quarter growth also rose to 5.3 percent from 1.4 percent in the fourth quarter of last year.
