Iloilo City PDLs to vote in detention centers

ILOILO CITY: Persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) in this city can cast their ballots for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) on Monday, October 30, inside their detention centers.

Iloilo City Assistant Election Officer Jonathan Sayno said the Commission on Elections city office has been allowed to set up a polling precinct inside the jail facilities to allow the inmates to exercise their right of suffrage.
