First lady to help fund plaza makeover

BACOLOD CITY: First lady Marie Louise 'Liza' Araneta-Marcos has committed to help find funds for the planned improvements of the Bacolod Public Plaza and the fountain area in front of the Bacolod City Government Center, Mayor Alfredo Benitez said.

'I presented the proposal to her when she visited Bacolod City during the Masskara Festival, and she committed to help,' Benitez said.
