TODAY marks my mother's second death anniversary. She succumbed to post-Covid complications after wrestling with it for almost a month in the hospital.
The irony is that she was able to help save hundreds of lives in those two years of Covid lockdown as she responded to life and death emergencies of relatives, friends, acquaintances and even strangers.
