PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has recently honored the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA) through the issuance of the Philippine Republic Presidential Unit Citation for its efforts and various accomplishments.
In his letter to Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista last October 11, President Marcos said the PCGA displayed "exceptionally meritorious conduct and extraordinary accomplishments in support of the conduct of maritime security operations, humanitarian assistance activities, and disaster relief and recovery efforts."
