Plastics, styrofoam banned in Cavite town

GEN. EMILIO AGUINALDO, Cavite: The use of plastic and styrofoam will no longer be allowed in Bailen town in this province starting November 6.

The new policy is pursuant to Municipal Ordinance 5-58 s. 2023 which requires that all establishments in town to use biodegradable materials such as recycled materials, cartons, ecobags, and paper as containers for dry goods.
