THE House Committee on Transportation on Monday cited "whistleblower" Jeffrey Tumbado for contempt over his answers during the panel's inquiry into the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) corruption issue.
The committee ordered Tumbado, former executive assistant of suspended LTFRB Chairman Teofilo Guadiz 3rd, detained for a maximum of 10 days at the House of Representatives.
