THE Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP) is spearheading the local electric vehicle sector's drive toward the full implementation of Republic Act 11697, or the "Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act (Evida)," over a year after the legislation was signed into law.
All eyes were on the Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS) 2023, now in its 11th and most expansive edition, with the mission of expediting the widespread adoption of electric vehicles across the country. The three-day exhibition and conference from Oct. 19 to 21, 2023 held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City showcased the latest technologies, innovations, and product releases from major players in the EV sector, both at home and in the region.
