INTELLIGENCE operatives of the Bureau of Immigration (BI) and other agencies of the government over the week arrested in Palawan two illegal Chinese workers pretending to be Filipinos amid security concerns on the proliferation of fraudulently-acquired but authentic Philippine documents among foreigners.
The duo were among the five illegal Chinese workers arrested in separate operations in the municipalities of El Nido and Taytay in Palawan on Oct. 17, 2023, on intelligence reports that the foreigners were working without the proper documents.
