The National Museum of the Philippines (NMP) celebrated a momentous occasion as it officially received the bronze Bust of Juan Luna y Novicio by Mariano Benlliure, which was generously turned over by the MIB Capital Corporation on October 10 at the Spoliarium Hall of the National Museum of Fine Arts.

This significant event, which marked the return of a long-lost treasure to the National Fine Arts Collection, was graced by distinguished guests, including First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, Senator Nancy Binay, Representative Christopher de Venecia, the NMP's Board of Trustees, officials from MIB Capital Corporation, Salcedo Auctions, cultural agencies, the Embassy of Spain, partner institutions and friends of the NMP, among others.
