A MAGNITUDE 5.9 earthquake jolted Davao de Oro early Friday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Phivolcs Director Teresito "Toto" Bacolcol said the tremor took place around 2:58 a.m., some 35 kilometers southeast of New Bataan, also in the province.
