DEFENSE Secretary Gilberto "Gibo" Teodoro Jr. issued a memorandum dated Oct. 14, 2023, prohibiting all personnel of the Department of National Defense (DND) and its bureaus and personnel of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) the use of artificial intelligence (AI) application.
In the memorandum, Teodoro said AI poses risk and danger to everyone's privacy.
