SMC leads rehabilitation of major rivers in Luzon

SAN Miguel Corp. (SMC) on Tuesday, October 17, announced it is setting its sights on another ambitious goal: cleaning up and rehabilitating three major river systems and other tributaries and waterways throughout Metro Manila, Pampanga, Cavite and Bulacan.

Three years ago, SMC launched its landmark river cleanup and flood mitigation initiative, which had removed over 3 million metric tons of silt and solid wastes from the Pasig, Tullahan and San Juan rivers.
